PALAS recipient & UWI-Med Student, Nicole Nation talks about Maia Chung Autism Foundation on CVM in JAMAICA. Nicole was also selected to represent Jamaica at a special conference in Columbia In January 2015.


Please see a short video clip below with Nicole Nation being interviewed on CVM TV in Jamaica as she discussed her work with Maia Chung Autism Foundation. Nicole was recently selected to represent Jamaica for a special conference to be held in Columbia, South America mid January 2015. Nicole is a 4th year med student at UWI who received PALAS scholarship for the past 3 years. 

She received a BSc in Sciences at UWI with 3.83/4.00 on October 29, 2014, she will obtain her Medical degree in 2 years. PALAS goal in 2015 is to award 125 scholarships and 125 computers to students in the Caribbean. PALAS awarded 72 scholarships to Jamaican students in 2014, bringing their total to 187 scholarships valued JA$9.8 million in the past 4 years.
